Hello. I was wondering what some "romantic" things to do and see in Toronto would be. I'm interested in anything from scenic walks, parks, "lookout points", exhibits, monuments, neighborhoods, etc...Restaurants too, but I'm mainly concerned about the aforementioned items.

I'm from northeast Ohio, currently living in New Orleans, and going to see a "lady friend" who currently lives in Toronto. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!

Getting out to the Toronto Islands is fun. You can take a ferry to one of the islands for $5, and you can stroll along the boardwalk there and look back at the city.

Guessing your "lady friend" will know of some places.
A walk around High Park and lunch at Queens Pasta would be my personal choice.

How about a tango or jazz festival? If your lady friend likes music this could be a fine choice to go for!

There are many exciting events in Toronto in June that can be easily turned into a romantic thing.

Could you give me a link to the ferry site as I may want to check out the Islands as well when I tour there in July
