I'm American and need to start searching for a house rental in Toronto (Riverdale area). Aside from Craigslist are there any other good websites? Thanks.

Google would probably be your best bet "House for rent" in some of the neighborhoods east of the Don Valley parkway would probably come up with something ..

REALTOR.ca -Welcome, just specify you are looking for a rental and not a sale. This is how we've found all our rentals.

Padmapper is awesome. It uses google maps and streetview.

But craigslist recently got their listings removed from Padmapper so it doesn't have quite as many places. Also padmapper is fully geared towards apartments which is exactly what this person is specifying they don't want.
