My ex brother in law lives near Lion's Head and liked it last time we spoke.

Lion's Head sounds nice. I understand that they have a school there.
Tobermory, though, is essentially a ghost town for 6 months of the year, eh?

I did a web search for businesses that are open year round and the only thing I could find is the Princess Hotel. The rest are boarding houses. On the Princess Hotel's website, it says that they have a restaurant. I wonder, do locals go there to eat out? Does they sell anything besides hotel stays? Is there a little shop inside or anything of that nature?

It's sad to see the central area of Tobermory, which is so lively in the summer go to waste for the rest of the year. Are there any businesses that are open year-round besides the Princess Hotel?

Default Tobermory has people living here all year round.

People live in Tobermory all year round, my boyfriend was born here... Lives here ... Lol as do his family and friends and business owners , :-) ( yes there are people who close up shop and maybe just own a holiday home here also) and obviously 1000's more people summer time when tourist places reopen x
