Im gonna study in Toronto and Im gonna stay in a house on Livingstone Ave. Do you guys know the area? Is it a good and safe neighborhood?

Eglinton between Jane and Dufferin can be sketchy. However, as soon as you're immediately east of Englinton West station it becomes "safe/nice". It should be OK where you are. There are some good restaurants around there.

+1 for above. Eglinton and Oakwood isn't that great either. You'll probably be fine but also it's not the best part of town.

As another aside, it's great that you're so close to the subway, but there isn't much to do up there.

Thanks for the help, guys. It seems not to be the best area in town, but is it at least safe? I will stay there only for a mouth so then I can go to somewhere better
