This little-known area in Toronto is now being touted as up and coming by real estate agents -- so up and coming Toronto Life magazine doesn't even know yet. The area is bordered by St. Clair, Pelham Park, Old Weston Road and Wiltshire (basically the heavy rail lines in the area and St. Clair Ave). The main thoroughfares have a ton of empty store fronts and those that are filled have nothing of interest. No chains, no faux-dives -- just actual dives. The Pelham Park Gardens TCHC building and the obvious gang activity going on there doesn't help. Although the new police station at Osler and Davenport is beautiful. What little internet presence this area has suggests people thought it was up and coming in 2012, but still nothing. What are the chances this area will actually improve -- does anyone have any thoughts on this area?
