OMG.... . I did see Chicago's Pride parade in 2012 I think or 2011.... . I stayed in a Lakeview Hostel that year. Saw the Parade on a oh so HOT sunny day. Got a six-pack (the beer kind LOL). They allow it for the parade.... And have to admit I FELT FREE. Took my shirt off and all. Had a slice of Pizza at the "Pie Hole Pizza restaurant. Got Sausage on it...... . Not quite the same since... got a lot of float pictures ..... missed the float of TOPLESS WOMEN . MY BATTERY POPPED OUT. .... of my camera silly...
Nah man. Quit taking offense. Beside every major city has multiple parades too. I'm sure nyc had a lot more parades than toronto so let's not go down that road.
It's bland. It's not gritty. It's safe. It's canadian. It's ok. It's till great in its own right. I'll gladly say I'm canadian but do I have to be proud just because other canadians will take offense if I say I'm not? Cm on not every American is proud either.

Now if it was Mexico that won... nearly 1/3 of Chicago might turn out.... 1/4 of NYC... more Puerto Ricans there..... and over 1/2 of LA.... Olay.
