I just had some very basic questions concerning a place my friend is considering to rent around there. She just wanted to know if this place (the listing is linked below)

a) is worth the price
b) if its a safe neighborhood with good accessibility
c) if its a good time to rent. Also, can she get a lot more space for the same price if she moves in somewhere a little bit away from the core?

The listing - http://condos.ca/toronto/residences-at-rcmi-426-university-avenue/unit-1007-C3239843

If there is a more suitable forum for me to post this to, please let me know, I'll delete this and move it there. Thanks!

What is the rent? I can not access the link without registering.

Re the neighbourhood. It's a great neighbourhood I lived there for a few years. Even though that was a number of years ago and it has changed since then - it is more gentrified now. There is still tons to do there - the art gallery, shops, restaurants. It is extremely accessible, being right at St. Patrick and Osgood subway. It is close to everything - north is UofT, south is the financial district, club-land, the lake. Eaton Centre is just a few blocks away.

Let me know what the rent is - although I don't think she will get much more space, for same $$, unless she was going to move quite a bit out of the core (i.e. Etobicoke, Scarborough etc.)

The RCMI condo is hardly located in Grange Park. It is on University Ave, Toronto's most glamorous street and yes it us safe with great location.
