Aaaah gawd! Already fielded a couple of calls from American friends threatening all sorts of dire consequences upon our arrival south this winter.

We've discussed sneaking in unannounced and hitting the local ABC store for additional mollification supplies.

Now if only the Maple Leafs could............ah well.

So are they actually going to have the world series here in Toronto? If so I better start saving up for that over priced ticket.

As a lifelong Jays fan, I am very pleased to see the Jays clinch the AL East! It's the first step, and there is a ways to go before they even get to the Series, but I wish them the best every step of the way.

I've been waiting 22 years for this to happen, and it's finally here. It didn't really sink in until I saw the guys celebrating in the locker room.

I didn't get the "celebration" as they actually lost the game they played that night 8-1!

Unfortunately, it was a doubleheader so after they clinched in the first game, after that it was decided to put out what basically amounted to a AAA lineup for the night game. It did make it awkward, but they didn't really have enough time to celebrate in between the first and second games.
