There are. I am less familiar with them, but you are most likely to have success around Between College and Dundas West near Dufferin and landsdown. I have heard of this place called the banana shop, but it might be called Brazilian Market now.
Brazilian Market

1613 St Clair Ave W
Toronto, ON M6E 1C9, Canada
Phone: (416) 652-0444

I have never been though.

The thing about many ethnic grocery stores in Toronto is that they are often small business that can crazy and burn quickly ex. Here today and gone tomorrow. If the places are out of your way best to call them and ask if they have the items you are looking for before you go. Also check out the thread about Mexican grocery stores in Toronto. Similar advise given may be useful. You might want to call some general latin american stores, kensignton or st. lawerence market or chinese grocery stores. If it exists in the world it is probably hidden in this city somewhere.

Good luck.

Pao de Queijo doesn't need a specific ingredient... just regular cornstarch will do
