Lost iphone on cab 16 august 2017 (home, taxi, live)

Hi everyone we lost a black iphone 7 with grey case, yesterday on a taxi in Toronto from distillery district to kensington market. We were in a dark grey Toyota with a nice driver from ethiopia, which had lived in italy for some years. Very good chats and a nice drive around. Unfortunately we don't know the taxi company. We don't actually care of the phone but need all the photos and contacts inside. Now the phone is shut down due to low battery but can help with all details. I don't know of we Will ever find it... but obviously we would love to get it back with any reward. Can Anyone help? We are back in italy but memories and work information is Missoni now! How did you pay for the taxi? If you paid with a card you will be able to track the company and possibly the drive of the cab.

Where you you picked up by uber?

Toronto does not have that many taxi companies. Do a google search for Toronto Taxi and e-mail the companies with a basic explainations ...

Ex. We are looking a phone we lost if one of your cabs
Provide the description of the phone, the drive, the pick up and drop off location, date and time. Do not say you are not sure of the company. Some taxi companies have specific cars and others just a sign on top. They might be able to direction you more on that. I would contact them as soon as possible. The longer you wait ... the less chance you will get your phone back.

Also is there not a way to track your phone location even if it is off?

Call the phone see if any one answers .if they do arrange a place to pick up your phone.
Ive lost my phone twice over the years and both times some one called me to tell me they found my phone. You did leave an easily accessible home phone number in you phones address book didnt you?

We tried calling the phone 40 Times. But it had no sound and the vibration was not enough... and it ente out of battery. Now its off.. we paid cash ... and it was not uber.
Does anyone know if there is a lost and found Office in Toronto?
Couldn't find many taxi Numbers.. but tried a few ... with no success till now.
We are back in italy stil looking for the phone and would lime to offer reward if anyone finds it...

Hope to find it in some way. Any suggestioni would be great... also if you know orbene blogs, forums or fb Pages

If the phone some how fell between or under a seat it may not be obvious to the driver that there is a lost phone in his car. Best you can do is call the taxi company and ask to get in touch with their lost and found dept.
