I'm considering a move to Toronto. I'm a 30 year old single wanting to live in an area that has a good demographic of others my age and somewhere close to a freeway.

Anyone have suggestions?
Where do single young professionals live in Toronto?

What are the costs of renting or owning?
How easy is it to commute along the DVP or Gardiner?

Thanx

The DVP (Don Valley Parkway) is affectionately known as the Don Valley Parking lot at rush hour. The Gardiner may be worse.

Many singles live in the downtown/mid town area. Yonge and Eglinton, Bloor Street, Avenue Rd, Heath, etc. Depending on your lifestyle, the area known as "the Beaches" is also popular with singles.
