Hi,
Does anybody of you guys have this job?
I wanted to ask what are pros and cons of
this job?

Im 29 and im thinking of taking some course for CNC operator.
Is it good payed job? Could I do it until 65?

I love 3d modeling / digital sculpting and
know 3d softwares(if this could be of any help).

Yes but if you're really serious, I would recommend you do a full tool & die program instead of just CNC; things are constantly developing in this industry; operators are a dime a dozen and the machine tools that are coming out now will probably make a CNC setup/operator almost an obsolete position, and I have a feeling that most manufacturers are looking for guys who can toolpath (Mastercam, Solidworks) and do setups, ie programmer/operator.

One of my teachers once told me that companies are looking for a guy who can grind a drill bit AND write a program.

Full disclosure, I haven't worked in this industry for several years (career change).
