Hi I'm looking for an authentic and affordable Korean restaurant, preferably somewhere close to downtown Toronto. I'm craving specialty dishes, not your typical Korean BBQ, bibimbap, bulgogi stuff.
some of the dishes that I'm craving :
soon dae guk (blood sausage soup)
hae jang guk (pork bone soup)
bossam (steamed pork with pickled cabbage and radish)
jokbal (pork feet)
gop chang (pork intestine)
gal mae gi (pork skirt meat)
duck bbq
I highly recommend one called "Sunrise" in Korean town. Small restaurant, excellent food, very reasonable price. Often full. NO, it is not just BBQ and bulgogi.
