"From the Trenches....100 Years....1000 Faces" A pop-up World War 1 Remembrance Day display at the SW corners of Eglinton Ave and Mt Pleasant in Toronto, Canada. There are 1000 men, women and families highlighted from WW1 era newspaper clippings from the Toronto Star's "Pages of the Past" with 100's being 48th Highlanders, PPCLI, Queens Own Rifles of Canada. The display will be in place until November 12th. Drop by and bring a poppy to add to the wall. The display is based on pages shown in this video which has been printed out.

One weird thing imo is why is Remembrance Day is not an official holiday in Ontario (and Quebec),
it should be, for Quebec it is kinda understanable but Ontario...it is shameful.
