Hi All,

Before I pay some windows and door company to help me I thought I'd post this and see if maybe it's an easy enough fix for me. I just moved into my newly rented apartment in Toronto as in the starting days I was a bit busy settling myself with work. Recently when I had off day I noticed the water keeps leaking through my "closed" windows when it rains/snows. Didn't know this was happening because my curtains cover it but one day I heard the sound of water dripping and discovered all this water damage on my window sill. Any idea how I can stop this leak?

Contact the owner of the property. This is a repair that the land lord is legally required to repair, quickly. The Ontario Land Lord and Tenant Board website has information about your rights as a tenant , regarding repairs to the property.
