Hi...I am a 20 year old single male working as a part time supervisor for a delivery company, thing is Im tired of my hometown (chicago) and Im planning to move to Chicago in the summer to start all over, is the cost of living in Toronto higher, lower, or about the same as Chicago's....and is it possible for me to get a similar job as I have right now, I earn about $1900 a month....oh and by the way, I am planning to rent an apartment with a roomate..........if you have any facts or suggestions, please feel free to post them.......THANKS!!!!
Toronto has taken much of it's urban plan from chicago. Take a toronto subway map and rotate it and you'll find it looks quite a bit like a chicago 'el' map, with a few lines missing. I can say that things are similar, but how similar I cannot say for sure. I know that if your planning a move you want to check with the government to get things like work permits etc.
