Who is responsible for fixing cracks in the foundation? Is the condo association responsible?

Good for you because at least you have a basement. There are condo townhouses in Toronto with
first floor as a basement... And they are
new built construction !!! I'm still wondering who gave them the right to build such stupid things...
The corporation should pay for it, however it;s sad it happend to you because they should have checked periodically the status of exterior walls and foundation becase I BET you pay lots of money as monthly fee and part of this is going into the "maintanence buget".
Hopefully you will not have to fight for it.
