hey guys

i've been accepted to the Schulich School of Business.

i've only now realized that their main campus is not in Toronto proper, but in North York.

That is kind of a concern to me, since i've never visited North York.

Can some of you give me some thoughts:
-how accessible that campus is from downtown Toronto- by bus, metro
-are North York and the campus itself nice-looking? i mean clean, and not so boring

Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.I want to make sure i won't spend the next 2 years hating where i live.

thanks guys!

WTF? North York is a borough of Toronto...Within the city limits. Not another town. How can you have not visited North York? The main Toronto highway(401) runs right through it.
One Subway line goes all the way north to Downsview. And theres an express bus there to get to YorkU. In the next few years they are extended the subway to YorkU.

Yea, the campus is clean and nice. My only beef with YorkU is that they're so many people on campus during the day. Its like imposible to walk lol. Other than that. Its pretty sweet.

Sadly, there are more than a few Torontonians who firmly believe they live at the center of the universe and can't fathom that someone wouldn't know the ins and outs of their "great" city.

The York Yeomen will never be confused with the Hoyas, but the campus is close enough to downtown Toronto to keep you from being bored to death in your 2 years.

Enjoy.
