Checking some literature I have... you have a 10PA17C compressor with a capacity of 3.25 oz. PAG 46. Make sure to use the right viscosity! Beware, most new and reman compressors come with oil filled already. Make sure it is dry/drained.
In addition to putting the correct amount of oil in the compressor, you need to add oil directly to these areas:
In general you would pour the oil out of the old part and measure it. Then put a little more than that into the replacement part.
I suppose you could get the new part so when you drain its oil, the same amount comes out that came out of the old part.
Then put that oil back in.
Note the oil in the A/C system does not disappear! It is still in the system's various parts. Your only concern is seeing that the new replacement part has the same amount of oil in it as the old part had. (New oil of course!)

It should go without saying that the replacement of a compressor entails a flush of the system, always. When you flush the system, no oil remains anywhere.

I replaced a compressor because it had a bad electric clutch - no need to flush. I have another vehicle now with squeaky compressor bearings - no need to flush that either.
So wouldn't it depend on WHY the compressor is being replaced?
