I'm really starting to like the 2007-2011 Toyota Camry's a lot and they're starting to be my favorite era of the Toyota Camry's, they kind of remind me of an updated version of the 1997-2001 Camry's
I am sure they are a fine vehicle. However, I find the concept of having a "favorite" Camry similar to having a "favorite" model of refrigerator. To me, they are all basic appliances.
The Camry is a very vanilla car....Sort of like Breyer's Vanilla ice cream. While not exceptionally flavorful or exciting, you can trust that it will be consistent from one half gallon to the next and so on and so on.
What do you like about them? I've driven a few as rentals and the main drawback I found was the driving dynamics. It's a car that begs you to drive it timidly. Any kind of hard acceleration or attempt at cornering gives you immediate feedback that says "hey buddy, you're driving a Camry, not a full blown race car like a Civic". Yes, a lowly civic feels like a race car in comparison.
Its definitely a reliable vehicle but nothing exciting about it unless you go with the v6 SE model. My brother in law has the v6 xle model and while it has some nice power (268hp), the car has a terrible floaty suspension.
Great car. My wife has a 2010. She has 70,000 miles on. She bought with 23,000 miles. No issues with it. On long trips we are getting anywhere from 32 to 35 mpg. The only thing I am not a fan of is the fit and finish. I like then layout and finish of my 02 camry solara better.
If I were to own one I would prefer to own the SE or the XLE model over the LE model, I can picture these cars being fun to drive with a V6 and leather interior.

Beg your pardon? Though it's very common for those that do not dare to use VVT-I engine full potential. Same goes for Honda VTEC engines too, as I had both, have one, no, 2, and I know what I am talking about.
If you want that bodystyle, I'd go with a 2010 or 2011, since they have the 2.5L engine and 6-speed automatic. The '07-'09 models have the 2.3L and 5-speed automatic.
