My 2005 Scion xA has 140,000 miles. I bought it with 103K. I has been very reliable. It's a bit small for my lifestyle---I need a hatchback with a fair amount of space with the rear seat down for sports gear. I don't want something as large as a Toyota Rav4. I don't trust Subaru. I don't like the driving position or the cockpit of the Honda Fit. I also ruled out the Nissan Versa (Scions are more reliable). Those rejected models brought me to the xA. My main priorities are mechanical reliability, great gas mileage, hatchback, seats fold flat, and a used price under $7000. The only car I have in mind at this point is the Scion xD, which has only 3 cu ft more than the xA. The xB is just too ugly. Are there are other models I should consider?
