I have a 2010 Toyota Camry with about 112,000 miles. I sometimes feel a quick little shudder in the drivetrain when driving. I believe it happens when the rpm get down around 1500 you'll feel a little stumble and they'll bump up to 2000 rpm. You can always just accelerate through it. But, it bugs me.

The car doesn't appear to idle rough or put out smoke. It's just this little shudder.

Any idea what this could be?

Any preventative maintenance things I could do to get this to go away?

My brother's Camry had the same problem, it turned out the car needed a new torque converter.

It doesn't sound like the torque converter issue that some Camry's having. Also, I believe that issues is for the 2012-2014 models.

To me sounds like a misfire, when was the spark plugs changed?

112k it’s past due for a fluid drain/fill, so it can’t hurt to try.
