Ford is finishing up a recall of 9.6M vehicles due to cruise control systems that can cause fires.

Not trying to pick on Ford. But no carmaker brags about their lack of recalls because they don't want anyone to look at the data.

But if I had to take my Ford in for a big subframe recall and had to drive a Toyota as a backup, I could almost hear the snickering over the internet from all the American car haters.
