Hello
Just want to share some of my thoughts and see if other people have same sort of dreams. Since I remember I loved to travel, and lucky me I did a lot of traveling.Although I did travel extensively most of it was in typical circumstances or tourist traps like nice hotel comfortable view, lots of people around and everything overpriced. What I need now is some really exotic travel kind of Indiana Jones , I would like to travel to some remote places like amazon ,africa, being able to sleep under the sky etc,of course with all the comforts. I heard that this kind of traveling is becoming popular, even Tiger with his ex wife slept under the stars in south africa.
I assume that there are out there some niche travel agents who organize such triptsv

I suggest visiting Botswana which is considered the "Jewel of (southern) Africa".
Another great place to visit are the Galapagos Islands (part of Ecuador in South America).

Sure...how much money do you have?

"with all the comforts..." is the key here. Tiger probably paid a pretty penny for his fully escorted African camping trip, Safari trips of those types can be very expensive (tens of thousands of dollars), and cruises to the Galapogos start at something like $10,000 each.
If you can afford it, knock yourself out. The only issue with these expensive and "all the comforts" visits is you lack some of the involvement and interaction and the trip becomes less rewarding than it could be.

As an alternative, you might try self planned exotic vacation. Research carefully, use local transportation, use local guides for your camping adventures, etc. I did sleep under the stars in S. Africa after careful preperation, with the sound of lions and hyenas at night, it was comfortable but not extravagent and it didn't break the bank.

Find an online list of countries, print it, tape it to the wall, and throw a dart at it. Go there. (Using a map won't work, too heavily weighted toward Russia, Canada, etc.)

There are only about a half-dozen countries that it is actually impractical (or illegal) to go to, and none are dangerous if you exercise reasonable caution and be friendly and never go outside your hotel at night.

Here;s another way to randomly choose a country. First, go to
http://www.random.org/integers/
and set it to choose 3 random integers, within the range 1 to 223. You might want to pick three, to give you some wiggle room, and then go to the one that suits you best.

Then go to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._by_population
and see what countries correspond to you randomly chosen numbers above.

(I got 30, 205 and 103, which are Tanzania, Faeroe Islands, and Jordan.)
