I have never been to the Frankfurt airport but I will be flying through there and stopping for 2 hours. I'll be flying from Chicago with Air India.. what I am looking for is a power outlet, I'm going to want to charge my laptop for the flight and also connect to the internet so I can talk to some people.. In USA there are always outlets right in the terminals, will it be the same way in Frankfurt?
Yes there are outlet (220V) around think like a cleaning person, behind trash cans, in the middle of the hall way where stopping and pluging could be a problem.. Also 2 hr is not that much time you might have about 1h to charge up.
Thanks for the help guys, that's good to hear. My battery will be dead when I arrive there and I'm mostly worried about being able to charge a bit and be able to connect to skype while im there. I had already bout an international plug adapter, they are very handy to have, but very good advice, it isnt something that always crosses your mind

To be honest, I have never noticed an outlet (or a charging station) at Frankfurt airport (Fraport). I was just through Frankfurt Airport in August.
There is WiFi but you have to pay for it - it's not free and it's not cheap.
It also depends on the airline you're flying on maybe Air India's terminal will have charging stations (or even the plane might have a power outlet where you are sitting or elsewhere on the plane ask the flight attendant if they have somewhere you can plug your laptop). Lufthansa is the largest carrier going through Fraport and I have only been through there flying Lufthansa/United/Swiss. That airport is huge and reminds me of O'Hare because of the long long walks from terminal to terminal. If you're lucky enough to be able to use one of the business lounges you may be able to find an outlet. Just make sure you take your adapter. It might be worth it to try to get an upgrade to use the business lounge for your 2 hour layover.
