Looking for a family fun place and diving for me. Some place that's not crowded but easy to get to. Also somewhere that you dont have a 2 hr car ride from the airport to the hotel.

And I would like to go some place I have never been to before.

These are the places I've been: Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Grand Cayman and Nassua.

Any suggestions ?

Barbados, Antiqua, St Martin, I like Antigau, oh, and maybe Grenda, I loved that island. laid back and kind people. Barbados, and St Martin are more into the cruise ship crowd. Grenda, Antiqua are my picks check on the web site of trip advisor for more advise. St Martin is more the swinging place, Barbados, very British, St Martin is where your wife will enjoy shopping. Martinque I did not like at all

I have diving friends that swear by Bonaire for the best diving
We did some good diving in Cozumel

We did a family reunion trip to the British Virgin Islands. About half the family went scubadiving.
After the trip, we visited St Thomas and St John on our own.
We really preferred the BVI.

I have spoken to divers who really enjoyed Nevis, Bonaire and Saba.
But I am not sure how it would be for a family.

Saba is a small island, (5 square miles), about 30 miles south west of St. Martin.

Access is either by way of small aircraft out of St. Martin, or by way of ferry out of St. Martin.
