Europe...I've been to Russia and it was fascinating, and OK, I would also like to see Greece...but the world is so Euro-centric that it gets annoying. I'm more of a fan of exotic cultures/places that I don't know much about, such as those in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific Islands (Australia, New Zealand included). And while I despise cold weather, I'd still love to see Antarctica.
I am NOT a cold weather person- keep Antarctica for the snow lovers!
I will admit I took the poll, and felt guilt. But I too have to agree, if I had to pick just one, Antarctica would be the top of that list. However, I don't care for anywhere that is too cold, or excessive snow. A bit sad, considering there are places of great beauty, that are incredibly cold.
So.. after I have traveled absolutely everywhere else.... then perhaps I could do it. Perhaps.. and immediately followed with somewhere tropical!
I like cold and snowy weather, but in Antarctica there's only snow and ice and nothing else - no vegetation, no buildings (apart from ugly bases), very few animals. Seriously, except penguins, there's nothing interesting in Antarctica, so it should be excluded from the poll.
I actually didn't vote because there's no place on this list that I would not visit.
However, you could give me a free trip to Russia and I'd probably pass. Only place I've ever traveled that I seriously disliked.
