I posted this in the Colorado forum, but it didn't get much traffic, so I'm hoping someone can offer suggestions here in the Travel section:

"Hi all - husband and I are considering renting a nice snowy, mountain cabin somewhere in/around the Colorado Springs area during the week in between Christmas and New Years next year. Never been there before, so I would love references/suggestions. I'm doing lots of research online, but personal references would be much appreciated.

Specs - we'd like something small, cozy, (obviously) beautiful scenery, relatively close to Colorado Springs. We're wanting the full scenic experience, and would prefer a place with kitchen facilities, and some amenities such as linens, cleaning, etc.

Any info/website suggestions are much appreciated!"

Thanks!!

It was years ago, but we once spent a nice weekend in Manitou Springs (http://www.manitousprings.org/Members1.aspx - broken link).
