I haven't looked at all of them that closely, but so far my nomination for 'winner' is jtur with:
St. Brendan's, on an island, off Newfoundland, population now 147. No transport, private boats and plane only.
Ironically, in terms of seeing other people, some of the most remotest places I've ever been have been just outside a city. I can walk just over a mile from my house and be in a rugged valley with no real trails around and probably not see anyone for a whole year. Most people skip on past their local foothills or other outdoor spaces for things that are actually on the map as 'something to do'. Even if they do get out in the local woods, they almost never leave the trail (which is perfectly legal in our National Forest, although it's a goof idea to stick to them when you can).
Camped five miles from the Canadian border once in Boy Scouts. It was in the Selkirk range of north Idaho. All I remember of getting there was that we were on logging roads for about an hour before getting to the trailhead.
