Hi

Which city did you visit recently ? And how did you find it ?

I recently visited Amsterdam and it's one of the ultimate tourist destinations. The city almost never sleeps. You can party till early morning. There are great historic places to visit. You can take a cruise rise along the mystic canals of the city. The restaurants and the cafes are really great.

SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES.

Um, I was in Indianapolis for a busines meeting last week. I drove around the northeast, north, and southeast parts of town. I wasn't impressed.

The last large city I vistited was Boston. There is always something there I haven't done yet. This time we went to The Museum of Fine Art and had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. I was in town to visit my grand daughter who is a student at Northeastern University. We went by Amtrac and I hope to go back soon.

I just recently visited NYC for the first time and enjoyed the visit ... I did all the typical touristy things such as Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Broadway show, etc ... I don't recommend trying to do it all in 3 days though ... LOL! That nearly did my feet in!

Not a city per se, but spent the weekend in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Nevada City/Grass Valley area of California. I've never been more impressed with an area, honestly, the brief time I was there. Easy accessibility to the alpine regions of the state, around Lake Tahoe, as well as a short drive to Sacramento. A wonderful visit, actually.

Just got back from Bali - I was in Ubud and Seminyak. Loved Ubud. Didn't like Seminyak at all. Ubud was relaxing with lots of lushness around it, and rice paddies nearby. It felt like Bali. Seminyak was a chaotic mess of wall-to-wall shops, hardly any lushness or Bali-ness around it.
