Everyone should go to Europe once. But after that, it's incredibly expensive compared to other destinations, and after all, all American's are Europeans, too, so there isn't all that much cultural difference.
To clarify the "expensive" part, yes, I know that star-for-star, hotels in Europe are just as cheap as tourist-class hotels anywhere else, but on other continents, you have the option of very low-priced travel ($15-30 a day per person, food, lodging and transport) readily available everywhere, every day, and that is completely impossible in Europe for even doublt that price, unless you are very lucky and do a ton of homework and have some inside contacts.
Omg, there isn't much cultural difference between Americans and Europeans? you clearly haven't travelled enough to Europe.

Well, Europe is the cune of civilization. It has the ancient history, the beautiful scenery, and all those little countries alltogether only a drive away. Of course is everyone favourite destination.
It seems just about everyone thinks Europe is more superior than other places. I was wondering if anyone thought the opposite and have no intention of going to Europe.
I lived in Europe. It has some good points but overall, I'd much rather live in the US.
The taxes are high, too many rules, way too PC, and in the areas I lived, the people weren't as open and friendly, upfront, like they are here.
Good things: Where I lived, the people knew how to drive, (it truly is night and day how well people drive, how much they co-operate with each other, how there is no idiot sitting in the left lane "policing" everyone, in some areas over there), and where I lived, it was CLEAN.
It was a bit of a shock to fly back in to New York and see the filth in the water and all around after living in Europe for some time. Course, that was New York, there are places in the US that are clean, as well but New York is what a lot of Europeans first see...how embarrassing.
