Call me ignorant, but I am planning on Europe this june.. and I completely forgot about the Olympics. The olympics will start in July.. I don't really have any intentions of going to London, but do you guys think I will see an increase in anything across the other countries? I was trying to do a little reading on the subject, and someone who had been in Europe during the Greek olympics said the rest of europe was unaffected, and I'm quite sure there was no difference in other states around USA when they were here in Atlanta.
Also, on another note, could this mean I may have to be more responsive about booking a flight out there?
I think eureka1 has come to a very good conclusion. If you have no special interest in the Olympics I think you should avoid making plans for London during June-July 2012. Probably, once the games are over and the high demand is history, the situation will be advantageous.
