I think it's okay to have a place you like to frequent, but I would never want to travel to the same place every year. I go visit extended family in Iowa and plan a vacation there every two years, but on the years I don't go I try to go somewhere new.

People who DO enjoy seeing the same places over and over are the only good candidates for time-share ownership.
