Has anyone else noticed how much easier it is now than just a few short years ago to travel by car in the south. A few years ago traveling on Labor Day weekend was rough, now its nothing, I drove from Bristol to Pigion Forge this weekend for a planned family get togather and I-81 and I-40 were almost vacant. The trip is 120 miles to the Seveirville Exit from our house and it took 1 1/2 hours exactly. Ever since gas went up, the economy dropped off and housing bombed its a travelors dream on the highway. I truely hate it that the locals are feeling the crunch but this is the nicest its been in this area since the early 90's

Yeah, I noticed! Instead, they all clogged the roads up here in Ohio...
