Oh, yeah! With such boring, brainless job - they try to get so much fun they can.
Once I opted out the scan, and they put me aside to for pat down. They said I have to wait till the finish the scanning. There was a very long line of people waiting for the scan, so after about 20 minutes, I said I can't wait any longer because I will miss my connecting flight. They told me I have to wait or go through the scan. So much for opt out.

I got scanned in Houston the other day... too bad it wasn't a hot TSA babe operating the machine.
I have yet to be scanned! In all the time since they got installed I have yet to be sent thro one - I feel quite neglected. In Minneapolis the TSAs were processing the security queue in such a stupid fashion that our bags ended up piled at the end of the belt before we even got to the machine so the security guy just told us to go around.
I agree that the whole "security" process is not consistent in every airport. I had a strict search and scan, (shoes off, belt, jewelry off, scanner eyes glued to the luggage scan monitor) in one place, and going through a metal detector with belt, jewelry, shoes on, and no one really paying attention to the scanned luggage. And I am talking about big airports, not some small local places.
Go figure...
I think that TSA needs to clue in, like EL AL, they don't "strip" search blind Jewish Grandmothers in wheelchairs. They profile...why is that such a nasty word in the US? If you fly EL AL airlines, based in Israel, they profile like crazy, my son was searched several times, because he is young (24), and has been to many different countries in the Middle East.
I mean, she's pretty and all, but I was expecting...more? They risked their jobs and where that casual about it with her? Makes me wonder how many more women were subjected to that test and she was the first one to complain about it...
Dime a dozen in S cal. She'd never get triple canned much the less double scanned in SD.
