In one word -- France. The one redeeming thought I can raise about the French is that they invented the bikini!

Russia, some of the European countries that offer nothing I can't generally see in the others.

For example, if I want to see castles and scenery etc. I can accomplish most of that in just a few European countries.
Just like if you come to the US and you want to see beaches or wide open great plains....you don't have to go to every state.

Some places on this planet have little or no comparable alternative.

1. Australia - great barrier reef
2. USA - YellowStone, Grand Canyon etc.
3. China - Great Wall etc.
and so forth

Only France. It's too overrated and touristy. Altho a visit to Southern France would be quite enjoyable I think. Just no Paris.
