I can remembering, several years ago, visiting friends in PA, I made the comment to my husband, as we were driving to thier home, PA is one state that pretty much has it all. Is it my favorite vacation spot or place to visit? No, but it does have a lot of diverstiy, in every way.

Hmmmmm! I like Colorado, Arizona, Middle Tennessee, and good ole North Carolina.

Remember the scene in "Dirty Dancing" when the sisters are in the car with their parents driving toward the mountains. That looks like Highway 74 West of Shelby near Lake Lure. I love the Lake Lure area where the lake scene was filmed. Wonderful part of North Carolina to visit. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also in that area and you never run out of something to do.

Boston is a great town to visit with easy public transportation to get around. Spent time in Seattle and Portland prior to an Alaskan cruise this year and both cities are fun to explore and Alaska...there really aren't words or pics to do it justice.

Sedona is a beautiful place to visit and have fun...anyone that goes be sure to check out Slide Rock Park.

But our family is really nuts about Disney and love spending time in Walt Disney World. A different vacation everytime we stay in one of the different resorts available through our vacation club membership.

Just give me salt water - an ocean beach - not just waterfront - it has to be a beach. I've only been to Florida's gulf coast, not to Texas or the others in between. Maybe this next year.
