I think I would go insane if I didn't have a vacation at least once a year.... Let's face it we live for our Holidays basically. I just got back from three weeks in Oregon and am already planning our next trip next Spring.
And we will also go away around Christmas , though that will be decided at the last minute and will also do week-ends away. This year we managed a trip to Bruges and Northern France, Croatia, Brittany and Oregon and I hope we can do as much next year.
I only wish Hubby's job involved a lot more travelling to be honest as there is no such thing as too much travelling IMO.
I keep telling him to get himself posted abroad but his boss never seems to let it happen !
I think a year without vacation and you would literally have to put me in a padded cell and find me weeping in a the corner for my life !
To me it is a basic workers' right to have paid vacation as is maternity leave or a pension.
