3) Hawaii - It's a beautiful place, but the locals are rude, and it's nothing but other American tourists. I wish I would have gone to a place like Martinique or Guadeloupe instead.
That is weird, we usually see massive herds of Asian tourists in Hawaii.
Visit to Alcatraz, and Golden Gate Bridge is definitely a great experience and lots of fun; however, rest of San Fran City is over rated when you look at the cost, IMO.
We stayed at Park Central Hotel where overnight parking was $100 a night, and that's on top of $400 a night for the room.
3, absolutely watered down, 16 Oz cups of hot chocolate at AT&T park cost me $21.
I could have visited Europe in the same amount of money that I spent in one week in San Fran.
Homeless people everywhere.
Super over-crowded and quite dirty/trash with over-loaded traffic.
Rising crime rate and live scenes of shop lifting are norm of the day. Police seems toothless.
Couple of good things that I noticed that every tree looked very fresh and lively. There was hardly any dead leaf or broken branches. Flowers seem to bloom very nice too. It must be the weather.
I guess over all it could be a nice place but not for everyone.
City definitely needs to find ways to handle crowds.
While I agree about SFO itself, I love San Francisco as a starting point towards the wilderness (Muir woods, northern part) or coast of Californa. I used to stay a couple of days in the city and it was okay, but nothing special and certainly overpriced.
Probably a stupid entry but I cannot for the life of me see why people like Myrtle Beach, SC.
