Hardly at all. We were a lower middle class family living in Ohio. Our only out of state travel was a yearly drive in the summer to visit my Mom’s parents in Florida. I really didn’t get to see the world so to speak until I joined the military in my earl 20’s.

I traveled a bunch. Many trips between Alaska and Montana. Many trips to other places. When I was 10 we drove from Oklahoma City to Anchorage Alaska via the Grand Canyon. Even traveled for high school sports.
