Europeans travel internationally a lot because driving 4 hours to another neighboring European country counts international travel. 4 hours' driving from Austin doesn't even get you out of state.

Oh I know they are, I've been one of them many times.
My guess, however, is that most Americans who do travel don't travel internationally, and that most of the ones who do probably head to the usual places... Cancun, maybe the Bahamas or a cruise. Agree with you about Europeans and travel.
