Also I try and get a magnet from every state/country I visit...when I have a bad day, it's a nice reminder of fun things I've done when I reach for a beer from the fridge
47 - have not been to Alaska or Hawaii, and somehow we have always gone around Alabama (tried to talk my husband into flying there last time SW had a big sale!!).
For the poster who hasn't been to Utah - we just got back from a trip to Capitol Reef (have now seen all five national parks in Utah) and Natural Bridges, and are already planning a trip back to hike down to the bottom of all the bridges in cooler weather.
Is there a thread about how many national parks you've been to?
45 States with the exceptions being: Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota, Alabama and South Carolina. The last two I intend to visit sometime as part of a late autumn road trip through the southern crescent.
Also 15 foreign countries; Mexico, Canada and 13 in Europe.
Thanks for prompting me to recall some fond memories when travel was more frequent.
I haven't traveled alot, not at all out of the US. I have been to 16 I think.
