Kentucky may have Eighty Eight, but Pennsylvania has Forty Fort. It was named for the forty Connecticut settlers who came to the area and built a fort. It's just across the Susquehanna River from Wilkes-Barre.
Oh, and how could I forget?? Hop Bottom, also in Pennsylvania.

My area of Western North Carolina has areas with names such as Spillcorn and Milk Sick Cove. I sit on my porch every morning and look at No Fat Mountain.
