I would stay in the United States. I have lived in Canada ( Vancouver, Victoria, and Calgary ) and have no desire to do so again. I have also lived in Mexico and Venezuela. I am fluent in Spanish.

I'd leave in a second if I could. I like Denmark, Belgiam, the Netherlands or maybe Luxemburg. It would be so nice to escape the Black - White racial tension and not have to worry about the war de jour!

Anywhere on the ocean from La Jolla to Santa Barbara would be my first choice. Lots of lovely places to live on the planet, but there's no place like home... I think I'd have to return to CA beaches every 6-mos or so, if living abroad.

If I left America again & didn't have to work, I'd return to Iceland (or another part of Scandinavia), where I grew up as a teen or varying parts of the UK, where I was raised as a kid.

Or, once Geo Clooney or Johnny Depp marry me... oh, wherever they want to go.

Ireland ~ the countryside

I would like to find a beautiful estate to restore then focus on writing, opposite to what Anne McCaffrey did with her Pern novels. Now, if I could think of a name for it... I would have many cats who would be fixed so that they woudn't have to fight and mate; we could take in ones that we tamed, something we're limited in doing now.

My mom and I daydream like that occasionally.
