Best:

Milwaukee- Surprisingly clean and new, and everyone working there was very friendly.

Portland, OR- Has some of the best shops and restaurants of any airport I have been to. Having the MAX train go right into the airport was a genius idea also. One of the easiest airports to get to from city center.

Branson, MO- Brand new airport, and it looks like a log cabin from both the interior and exterior.

Worst:

LaGuardia- Cramped and old. Has some of the worst traffic congestion of any airport. It is also difficult to access with public transportation, which is a shame.

LAX- Has improved a bit over the years, but is a pain in the ass. It's also dirty. Also difficult to reach through public transportation, though this has improved with the LAX Flyaway shuttle.

ATL is far better than it should be, given the insane volume it handles. I'll also throw in a vote for the lovely and generally underrated McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metro.

Worst- Las Vegas. The need to add a bank of slot machines in any vacant space possible leave it feeling cramped and claustrophobic and it ends up being way harder to get around in there than it should be.
