Hi all.. I travel from NJ to and forth to NY ? So I cross Holland Tunnel 16 times in a month from my car. I would like to know
e-Z pass NY is cheap or e-z pass NJ ? And how much is it cheap? I would also like to know is there any monthly commuter plan which could suit my traveling conditions
This will probably fit better in the state forums, and you will get a better answer. "Travel" topics usually don't include the best route to drive to work. Yes it's travel...but come on.
EZ Pass is EZPass: works in NY, NJ, Delware, et al, wherever EZ is accepted on toll roads/bridges.
From fading memory: most of the bridges/tunnels in NYC area are $13 cash and $11 Peak Time EZ Pass and $9 non-peak EZ Pass.
I've had one since they 'came out': use it all over metro NY/NJ/Delaware and some other places that accept it.
For commuting, and even general driving, I can see zero downside to having it, if simply for the EZ Lanes or no fumbling for dough. I could not care less that 'they know' where I've been...
