Hello,

I am planning to get my mother over to Houston in the near future. I am looking for someone who is traveling from Bangalore (India) to IAH (Houston) in the next 2-4 weeks who could accompany my mother on the same flight. My mother is fairly independent but it would very helpful to have someone be on the same flight with her so that the change flights at transit point and the immigration at IAH is smooth. Pls. keep me posted if you any plans or know friends /family that may have plans to fly from BLR-> IAH in 2-4 weeks.

Thanks

I would suggest speaking with the airline about helping. Seniors need assistance and many airlines have agents for this issue.

Which Airlines? Normally Seniors are given Wheelchair facility at airports. Make sure she has some dollars to give TIPS to the staff assisting her with luggage. Even if you find someone on the plane, wheelchair staff will whisk a passenger much faster and separate from the normal line. If there is language problem, then you should try to talk with airlines. Normally if your mother knows Hindi, there should not be any problem at Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi airports.
