Australia is certainly more expensive than America, similar to prices in Hawaii. Although some prices were even more expensive than HI. However, wages are higher, quality of life is better, the beaches (mostly the non-commercialized ones) have it all over anything in America and just about any in the Caribbean. Chances of terrorist attacks are slim. And the airlines treat you like a human instead of livestock.

America has it all over AU when it comes to national parks, but the overall scenery and picturesque countryside of AU is unbelievably gorgeous. Of course, I'm not talking about central AU.

But to be sure, bring extra $$$ when visiting there. All things considered, I rather live there.

Not quite what was asked, but when I returned to Australia from Asia the clean air and open spaces reminded me why I love home so much x

Freedom of speech. In some countries you need to watch what you say or get thrown into jail.

Roosters crow 24 hours a day. In America hotels don't allow roosters on roof tops or air wells.

All the parking and the good wide roads. Parking spaces big enough for something bigger than a child's toy wagon.
