I am going quite a number of cities this end of the month. So i wonder which cities in Europe may make me feel disappointed? and which cities in Europe make you feel disappointed after visiting?

Rome, Florence, Venice, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Lucerne, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris.
If it's your first time, you won't be disappointed by any of those cities because they are worth checking out ... but there are some you may not be interested in coming back.
From your list, the cities I'd like to keep visiting again and again are: Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, and Paris.
I would say that this is an impossible thing to answer because what one person finds exciting about a city may do nothing for you, so if you go with an expectation that you're also going to love it you just going to intensify your disappointment. Also there are cities where you think that you are not going to enjoy your time there but you may find that it is more enjoyable than you expected.
Before we visited Budapest, I was told, "You either love Budapest, or you hate it." Well, I fit squarely into the latter group. I was very disappointed by Budapest.
It was dirty, and the traffic was scary -- particularly when we tried to cross streets. I got the distinct impression that oncoming drivers were aiming at us, although I'm sure that couldn't be true. Could it?
I found the language barrier to be a real problem. There's no faking it with the Hungarian language, the way you can sort of fake a Romance language if you know another Romance language. And I found very few people in Budapest speak English. We got terribly lost using the public bus, and had no idea how to get back to our hotel.
That's been the only place in Europe that disappointed me.
What's disappointing to one person is the best place another has ever visited. I loved Budapest and Venice, for example, while others here did not. No one is right or wrong, it's subjective and depends on the specific experience you have in a place, generally.
