Trip to Greece

I've traveled to Greece before.... I was 26 at the time.
So you'll wanna spend 3 days MAX in Athens and then move on to the islands as they are simply STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL.

I went to Mykonos for 3 days....LOVED it. Very active party scene... beautiful... very young vibe...again plenty of parties.

Then I went to Santorini, which was probably the most beautiful of the islands I've visited. Not as much of a party scene but it's still there. More older couples taking in the absolute beauty of the place.... however dont think the only is full of old people it's not... just when comparing it to Mykonis, it's a little more "romantic" and thus a bit quieter.

Then I went to Ios. Also, a very beautiful island. I went cliff diving there...also did some tubing on the water off the back of a boat. . was freaking amazing. omg. I miss it. Now im getting nostalgic...

I heard Crete was beautiful as well. . . Honestly, any island u go to ur going to be dazzled. Just dont spend too much time in Athens...as that is the ugliest part of Greece IMO.... lol. Get to the islands.

We spent about ten days. We took an overnight ferry from Venice to Corfu.

Few days on Corfu (it helps to rent car or scooter). Lovely green island. Had the beach to ourselves in Peroulades.

Then we flew to Crete, spent about five days there. We rented a car. The covered market in Chania is a must-see. So is Knossos.

By ferry we worked our way back to Athens via Santorini and Ios.

Santorini was breathtakingly beautiful.
Ios was a fun party island.

We spent two days in Athens at the end of our trip.

I went but just to Athens and Crete.


I'd definitely recommend Crete-the Palace of Knossos. Home of the minataur, awesome frescos, and the worlds 1st flushing toilet.Knossos - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
